Where do 1:1 sessions take place?

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing is best to make the most of your experience. The more comfortable you are, the more you will be able to relax and fully engage with the session. Loose, non-restrictive clothing is always a good choice.


Is it ok to eat before a session?

You can eat before a session. However, you will be lying down for the session so I would recommend not eating in excess immediately before the session, for the sake of your digestive system (and your comfort).


Will you physically be adjusting my body during a session?

There will be no physical manipulation as part of the session. With permission, I will be laying hands (appropriately and respective-fully) or using tuning forks or singing bowls on places I feel guided to energetically, but I won’t be adjusting your physical body.


Do I have to stop seeing my regular doctor to receive a healing session?

No, energy healing works in harmony with all other forms of health care and is a great addition to any current health practices. Please continue to see your current health care professionals as needed.


What should I do following my treatment?

Make sure you drink lots of water. Staying hydrated helps the energy to flow. Listen to your body, rest if you feel called to it. Follow the customized instructions I’ve given to maintain positive energy between sessions and moving forward.


Are there any side effects from Sound & Reiki sessions?

Most of the time clients feel relaxed and uplifted by a Sound & Reiki Therapy session. However, there is the potential for a person to have what is called (in alternative health practices) a healing crisis. As things start flowing sometimes toxins that have been stored in the body will be released into the elimination channels to be removed. When this happens, sometimes a person can get a headache or stomach ache or feel slightly ill. If this happens, it’s important to stay hydrated, eat lighter meals, and rest. The body is cleansing as part of the healing process and this is a good thing!


How often should I come for a session?

The effects of energy work are cumulative. Any healing that is done in an initial session creates a foundation for us to continue to build upon. Multiple sessions are recommended as it allows us to go deep and work through blockages or imbalances (anything that is keeping you from health). Once that firm foundation is build, and your health goals are achieved, regular sessions (coming every few months or as needed) are a great way to maintain your health and well-being and keep you in alignment with your best self.
